2. Who sells to you

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. What you buy

A one-time payment for a license to use Docnest for Mac. It is not a subscription. You choose 1, 2 or 3 Macs and receive that many purchase codes by email. Each code registers one Mac.

To move to a new Mac, release the old Mac in the app and register the new one. If the old Mac is lost or broken, write to us.

We don't promise new versions for any set period. The version you have keeps working. The price shown at checkout, in your currency and with any tax, is the price you pay.

4. Trial

You can try Docnest for 7 days, once per Mac. When the trial ends, the shelf and library are locked until you register a purchase code. Your documents are not deleted.

5. Your documents

Docnest shows documents that stay on your Mac. It does not upload them. Documents you add to Favorites, edits you make in Docnest and AI answers that were never saved as a file are kept as copies on your Mac. You are responsible for your own content and backups.

6. Acceptable use

Do not resell the license, share your codes with other people or circumvent the license check, and do not reverse engineer Docnest except where the law allows it. If you do, we may revoke the license.

We own the copyright and trademarks in Docnest. The license lets you use the app. It does not transfer ownership.

7. If we shut the service down

If we close our official server, any Mac registered before then keeps the features you bought. After the server closes, we don't guarantee that you can register a new Mac or move to a different one.

8. Warranty and liability

Docnest is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we don't guarantee that it runs without interruption in every setup or that it collects every document. Except for intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to what you paid for Docnest. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

9. Refunds

See the refund policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply where they are more favorable to you.
